ObjectivesTostudythetherapeuticeffectofazithromycinonCampylobacterjejunienteritisinchildrenandtoexplorethereasonableapplicationofantibiotics.MethodsAtotalof31casesofCampylobacterjejunienteritiswithwaterystoolwererecruitedinthestudy.Campylobacterjejuniwasdetectedbylatexagglutinationtestintheirstoolsamples.Thecaseswererandomlydividedintotwogroups.Treatmentgroup（n=17）weretreatedwithazithromycincombinedwithmucosalprotectiveagent（Smecta）andprobioticpreparation（BifidTripleViableCapsule/Powder）,Controlgroup（n=14）weretreatedbymucosalprotectiveagentandprobioticpreparationwithoutazithromycin.ThecoursesofdiseaseandthedurationofCampylobacterjejuniinthestoolwerecomparedbetweenthetwogroups.ResultsTheclinicalandbiochemicaldatabetweentwogroupswerenotsignificantlydifferent.Allthepatientsrecoveredfromtheillnesscompletely.Thecourseofdiseaseaftertherapy,totalcourseofdiseaseandthedurationofCampylobacterjejuniinstoolweresignificantlyshorterinthetreatmentgroupthancontrolgroup（P〈0.01）.ConclusionsThecourseofdiseaseandthedurationofCampylobacterjejuniinstoolareshortinchildrenwithCampylobacterjejunienteritiswhentreatedbyazithromycin..[著者文摘]
